We've had a relatively uneventful month here. No traveling, no visitors, just some good old fashioned family time! We've had birthday parties just about every weekend, and Mike and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary the day before Father's Day. We've been taking the boys to the pool quite a bit- it's too hot to be outside otherwise!
Grant is 15 months old now. He's 30 inches (25th %ile), 26 lbs. 3 oz. (75th %ile), and his head is 48 3/4 cm (90th %ile). He's been saying a lot of small words- no, dog, hi, ball, etc., and he's signing "more" and "please". He loves to wave (especially when skyping with his Gram and Pap on the computer), and he's currently obsessed with raisins. He's not quite running, but he gets around very quick, including up and down the stairs. He's picked up on Nolan's love for dancing, although Mike thinks he's more into rock 'n roll (he's got a great head banging move) while Nolan's more hip hop. The kid gets into everything!!!!
I also took Nolan in for his 3 year check-up. He's 37 inches (25-50th %ile) and 32 lbs. (50-75th %ile). He continues to test us daily, but he's such a sweet boy! I can't even count how many times a day he randomly gives me a huge hug and says, "I love you so much, Mommy!" He melts my heart and makes me laugh so much! For the most part, he's a great big brother to Grant, although they have their moments (usually fighting for attention or wrestling that gets out of hand). He's going to camp at his school 2 days a week and his teachers tell me he does a great job there as well. He's been potty trained for a few months now (underwear at night, too!), with only a couple random accidents here and there. He's been going through a phase of being scared of the giants in his room at night, but we seem to have that under control now with "giant spray" (water in a spray bottle).
