Baby Signs

Here's Nolan doing his baby signs. "Please" is supposed to be done with only one hand, but hey, I'm just excited he's doing them at all!

Another Month Gone!

July is almost over already, and we've continued to stay very busy around here! Two weekends ago, I got to get away with my other Mommy friends. We left the babies with our husbands and went to Lake Oconee for the weekend. We had a wonderful time boating, sitting by the pool, and doing lots of talking without having to chase after the babies! Here's a picture of me with Meredith, Nicole, Kerry, Anna, and Shelley. I feel so lucky to have met this wonderful group of friends! After that trip, I had to come home and start packing for yet another weekend away. We went back to Cleveland for my cousin Kyle's wedding. We got to spend lots of time with Dan and Carly, and see almost everyone from my Mom's side of the family!
On another note, Nolan has finally decided to start using some of the sign language I've been teaching him for months! We were at the grocery store yesterday, and I got him a free cookie from the bakery. He loved it so much he kept signing "more" and "please" like he was an old pro!

14 Months Old

Nolan turned 14 months old yesterday! He continues to keep me very busy, strolling all around the house, getting into everything he can. He loves to climb up 1-2 stairs, wait for me to tell him "no", then climb down and laugh. He thinks it's the greatest game ever, but it's not so fun for me!
We took a 10-day long trip to Ohio at the end of June/beginning of July. We spent the first half of the week with my parents and the second half with the Peresie's. It was fun getting to see everyone- especially many of Mike's relatives that we had not seen since our wedding! Nolan absolutely loved flying on the plane, so he'll be happy to find out we'll be flying to Cleveland again next weekend for a short trip for my cousin's wedding. This weekend I am looking forward to having a girl's weekend with some of my GA girlfriends. We're all leaving the babies with our husbands and going to Lake Oconee!
Here are some recent pictures, including one from the 4th of July, with his cousins Jenna and Brayden.
