Grant is 5 months old! Here are some pictures from today. He's rolling both ways now, and is doing a great job eating rice cereal and oatmeal. Unfortunately he's still not sleeping any better, but I keep reminding myself that this will pass! He enjoys hanging out in the doorway jumper and clearly gets very proud of his jumping ability. He also loves to watch Nolan, whatever he's doing. I can tell he can't wait to play with his big brother!

End of Summer
Summer is winding down, but that doesn't mean anything has been slowing down here! My parents came for a visit at the beginning of August, and my mom was able to stay for a week, which was a huge help. It's hard to find the energy to keep up with a 2-year old when I'm up all night with Grant!
Shortly after Grant turned 4 months old, we started feeding him rice cereal. The boy loves to eat, but it hasn't helped his sleeping at all! I'm hopeful that he'll be a good eater like his big brother!
Nolan started real preschool this month, and he loves it! He only goes 2 days a week, but has been asking to go on his days off. Since starting school, he's already singing his ABC's and The Itsy Bitsy Spider. He's also learning his numbers, Spanish, and they're even working on potty training!

4 Month Checkup
Grant is 4 months old! Just a few days ago he started rolling from his belly to his back. His favorite thing to do right now is play on his playmat and try to grab the animals that hang over him. He also enjoys "talking" to himself in the mirror and laughing at Nolan. He has recently decided that sleep is overrated and has been waking every 1-2 hours at night. We're hoping that changes soon!! Here are his 4 month stats: 15 lbs 4 oz (50-60th %ile), 25.5 in (65-75th %ile), 42.5 cm head (50-60th %ile).

Ohio Part II
The next stop on our Ohio trip was Mansfield, to visit with Mike's Dad's side of the family and attend the Brownson Family Reunion. This was our first time meeting Garrett (born in February) and Blake (born 2 days after Grant)! The boys enjoyed playing with more cousins and Nolan was thrilled to find out that these grandparents have a tractor too!

Ohio Part I
Since we were going up to Ohio for Dan's wedding, we decided to stay there for 10 days to visit with family. Packing for 2 little ones for a 10 day trip was quite a hassle, but it was worth it! Nolan and Grant were great on the airplane- Nolan was SO excited about everything, and Grant slept most of the time. The only issue we had was that Delta did not send our luggage on the plane! They delivered it to my parents' house about 8 hours after we landed, grrr. We spent the first half of the week with my family in the Cleveland area. After the wedding festivities were over, the boys got to spend some time with their cousins Sophia, Maya, and Marley, and Nolan discovered his new love for tractors!

Dan's Wedding
My brother Dan got married to Carly on June 26th! The wedding was beautiful and the reception was so much fun! Nolan was the ringbearer and he made us so proud. I had my doubts he could do it, but he walked down that aisle like a pro (with the help of the flower girls)! These are some pictures from the wedding day.

Pictures
I finally have my computer back, so now I have some catching up to do! In June we got some pictures taken for Grant's 3 month birthday. The photographer took less than 15 shots, which did not make me very happy, but here are a few of them.
